To live here in Portland, we all should be so thankful and grateful for the opportunities it brings us, with it’s space and freedom of the outdoors there’s no excuse to get our body’s moving!
For whoever that may be reading this and your not from Portland, Portland is located on the far southwest coast of Victoria the first permanent settlement back in 1834. We have beaches surrounding us from the South of Portland there is Cape Nelson which includes a 210 hectare state park bordering rugged cliff tops. To then the small community of Cape Bridgewater around 19 kilometres west of Portland. From here, the discovery bay coastal park stretches 50 kilometres north west along the small town of nelson, close to the state border of South Australia. Cape Bridgewater has several lookouts above the beaches which overlook the bay.
